Jason Lowe fit for Blackburn Rovers

Blackburn's Lowe fit after head injury

Jason Lowe has declared himself fit for Blackburn Rovers' match against West Bromwich Albion Saturday after suffering a head injury.

The midfielder was stretchered off during last weekend's defeat at Sunderland following a collision with Sebastian Larsson.

"I'm absolutely fine," he told the club's official website. "These things happen in football - clashes of heads, elbows - but you just get on with it and I'm fine.

"I felt it to say the least as soon as it had happened, but after a few stitches and a few bruises I'm just getting on with it.

"As far as I'm aware I'll be up for selection, training and looking forward to the game."

Lowe recently signed a new five-year-deal with the Lancashire club.
