Birmingham City winger Demarai Gray unconcerned by transfer speculation

In-form Birmingham City winger Demarai Gray has insisted that he will not let reports of a Premier League move distract him.

The 18-year-old netted a first-half hat-trick in the Blues' 6-1 win over Reading on Saturday and has since been linked with moves to Newcastle United and Liverpool.

Speaking of the rumours, Gray told the Birmingham Mail: "I don't really let that worry me or play on my mind. I just concentrate on playing my football where I am right now and I am happy.

"It could get on your shoulders but I have got good people around me.

"I speak to the right people and they basically told me not to watch any of that stuff and to just concentrate on what I am doing."

Saturday's treble was just the second league game out of 16 that Gray has scored in this season.
