Former Paris Saint-Germain trainee 'on trial at Birmingham City'

Former Paris Saint-Germain trainee Christy Manzinga is reportedly undergoing a trial with Championship side Birmingham City.

The 20-year-old has been named in the Blues' starting lineup for Monday afternoon's Under-21s clash against Coventry City.

According to the Birmingham Mail, the free agent is being closely monitored by City, who could make a move should he prosper on his short-term spell.

Manzinga, a DR Congo Under-20s international, has been without a club since leaving Ligue 1 outfit Angers earlier this year.
