Birmingham City loan Manchester United defender

Manchester United defender Tom Thorpe has rejoined Birmingham City on loan until the end of the season.

Thorpe originally moved to St Andrew's on the final day of the January transfer window, but the deal was halted prematurely when the 21-year-old suffered an ankle injury 14 minutes into his debut.

However, Blues manager Lee Clark has opted to make a second move for Thorpe, who has made one appearance for England at Under-21 level.

Thrope will be available for Birmingham's home fixture with Bournemouth on Saturday.
