Andrew Shinnie extends Birmingham City contract

Birmingham City midfielder Andrew Shinnie has signed a two-year contract extension with the Championship side.

The 26-year-old's previous deal was due to expire next summer, but he has now committed to the club until 2018.

Shinnie joined Birmingham from Inverness Caledonian Thistle in 2013 and has scored five goals in 56 appearances since.

He joins Demarai Gray, Clayton Donaldson, Paul Caddis and Jonathan Grounds in signing a new deal at St Andrew's this summer.
