Half-Time Report: Paul Willis goal gives Berwick lead over Spartans

Paul Willis has given Berwick the lead at half time in the Scottish Cup game against Spartans.

Berwick flew out of the blocks and when an attempted clearance from a corner found Willis, the striker had no problem smashing an unstoppable shot into the top corner of the net.

Willis then saw another shot fly miles wide of the goal before Spartans' Paul Sludden forced a good save from Billy Bald, who had to dive down low to his left.

The rest of the half was a dull affair and the two teams go in at the break 1-0 to Berwick.
