Benevento have reportedly moved to the brink of completing a deal for defender Bacary Sagna.
Since being released from Manchester City at the end of last season, Sagna has remained a free agent but the full-back appears likely to find a new club in the near future.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Sagna has made himself available to the Serie A side, who have been reshaping their squad in an attempt to remain in Italy's top flight.
Benevento endured a disastrous start to the campaign, but seven points from their last three games have moved the minnows to within eight points of safety.
Last season, the 34-year-old made 25 appearances for Man City in all competitions.
