Wilmots: 'I'd have Hazard over Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar'

Belgium coach Marc Wilmots has claimed that Eden Hazard is the best player in the world.

The Chelsea winger has been one of the Premier League's outstanding players this season, and Wilmots ranks him above the likes of Lionel Messi, Neymar and current Ballon d'Or holder Cristiano Ronaldo.

Speaking to L'Equipe, Wilmots said: "If you ask me if I want Messi, Ronaldo or Neymar, I'd keep Hazard. Eden has found in the Belgium team a side that can take him as high as his dreams.

"Even within a very strong team, Eden stands out because he has something more. Technically, he is amazing. I'd put him on my podium Ballon d'Or because he totally convinced me of his talent.

Hazard is Chelsea's top scorer this season with 14 goals.
