Preview: Belarus vs. Spain

Belarus vs. Spain

Belarus welcome Spain to the Stadyen Dynama this evening for a tough 2014 World Cup qualifier, with the home side in need of maximum points.

Belarus boss Georgy Kondratiev will be desperate for his side to get something out of tonight's fixture due to their place at the bottom of Group I, while the reigning champions sit behind France in second place on three points.

Belarus are likely to line up with Vitali Rodionov after suffering an injury crisis following the withdrawals of frontman Leonid Kovel and midfielder Anton Putsila.

Meanwhile, Vicente del Bosque could start with Chelsea striker Fernando Torres with Manchester City's David Silva and Barcelona's Andres Iniesta providing wide support to the frontman.

Sergio Busquets could be chosen to line up in the back four due to the absence of injured Barca pair Gerard Pique and Carles Puyol.

Current form:

Belarus: DDWLL Spain: DWWWW

Possible lineups:

Belarus: Vyeramko; Marty'vich, Palyakow, Filipenko, Verkho'sov; Drahun, Kislyak; Bardachow, Bressan, Hleb; Rodionov

Spain: Casillas; Arbeloa, Ramos, Busquets, Alba Xavi, Alonso, Fabregas; Silva, Torres, Iniesta

Sports Mole says: 0-3
