Bayern calm over Guardiola extension

Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has insisted that the German outfit are in no rush to open contract talks with head coach Pep Guardiola.

The Spaniard's current deal at the Allianz will expire in 2016, but Rummenigge has said that new talks will not begin "until the end of the season".

"I have told Pep that we will not contact him to discuss a contract renewal over the next few months," Rummenigge told Ara.

"We will not take any action until the end of the season. We might open talks with Guardiola in the second half of 2015."

Guardiola has been linked with a return to former club Barcelona.
