Bayern Munich's Thiago out for up to four weeks

Bayern Munich have confirmed that they will be without the services of Thiago for up to four weeks.

The midfielder sustained a knee injury while on international duty with Spain last Friday evening.

Soon after the 24-year-old stated on Twitter that he would be absent for a "few weeks", but now his club have provided a more accurate timescale.

Thiago, who has been plagued by knee problems ever since he joined the Bavarians from Barcelona in 2013, has made six Bundesliga appearances this term.
