Franck Ribery: "We were superb"

Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery has praised the side for their performance in the 5-0 win over Viktoria Plzen in Group D of the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Ribery scored twice before being substituted in the second half and he said that Bayern's hunger and focus was perfect, which resulted in the comfortable win.

"We were superb," he told UEFA.com. "I think the whole team played well and so we won 5-0. We kept it up for the whole 90 minutes, which was great. It doesn't matter who you're playing, you always have to remain focused to keep on winning and play as well as we did tonight.

"When you play with hunger and focus, you'll always score goals. Now we need to keep on going and win our remaining three games. We want to finish in first place; that's very important."

Bayern currently top Group D with three wins from three.
