Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels believes that he will be fit for the Champions League final despite injuring his ankle yesterday.

Mats Hummels has said that he expects to be fit enough to play a part in the Champions League final next weekend.

The Borussia Dortmund defender was forced off with an ankle injury during his team's 2-1 loss to Hoffenheim yesterday.

The 24-year-old told Sport Bild: "It's not torn and not as bad as we had first feared. I am confident that it'll be OK for the final.

Dortmund will face Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich in the first all-German Champions League final at Wembley next Saturday.
