Bayer Leverkusen striker Son Heung-Ming has admitted that the opportunity to play in Europe was the deciding factor in agreeing his move from Hamburger SV.
Son also said that it is important to feel wanted and that Bayer made it clear to him that he would be an important part of their team.
"It was really important for me to join a club that was playing in Europe," Son told reporters.
"I spoke to a lot of clubs but I got the feeling that Bayer really wanted me and that was my reason for deciding to deciding to come here."
Son scored 23 goals in 70 appearances for Hamburg.
