Bastia oust Ajaccio in Coupe de la Ligue

Bastia have earned a narrow 1-0 win at home to local rivals Ajaccio in the third round of the Coupe de la Ligue.

The only goal of the game came as early as the seventh minute courtesy of Brazilian striker Ilan Araujo.

Bastia are looking to win the tournament for only the second time in their history after first lifting the trophy in 1981.

Frederic Hantz's side return to Ligue 1 action on Saturday when they make the trip to Reims.
