David Flitcroft confident of signings

Barnsley boss David Flitcroft reveals that he expects to sign at least one new player before the end of the transfer window.

Barnsley manager David Flitcroft has revealed that he expects to sign at least one new player by the end of the week.

The Tykes have struggled at the start of the current Championship campaign, picking up one point from their first three games.

"I'm starting to see movement now," Sky Sports News quotes Flitcroft as saying. "We've been fishing for a bit now and we'll probably catch someone this week."

Barnsley are in league action on Saturday when they make the short trip to Blackburn Rovers.
