Barnsley manager David Flitcroft describes Bobby Hassell and Stephen Foster as "two experienced heads" following their 0-0 draw at Crystal Palace.

David Flitcroft has credited Bobby Hassell and Stephen Foster for helping Barnsley to collect a 0-0 draw from their trip to Crystal Palace this afternoon.

Palace have scored more goals at home than any other Championship club so far this season, but manager Flitcroft believes that his experienced duo played a major role in keeping the Eagles at bay.

"I think the experience of Stephen Foster and Bobby Hassell marshalled Glenn Murray really well which you have to do, he is the best striker in the league," he said.

"Having two experienced heads in there helped us and it is important down the centre of pitch that you have leaders."

The result has left Barnsley 20th in the Championship table.
