Barcelona target Premier League trio?

New Barcelona boss Tito Vilanova will reportedly target a trio of Premier League defenders this summer.

The Catalan giants have sounded out Arsenal's Thomas Vermaelen, Chelsea's David Luiz and Manchester City skipper Vincent Kompany, according to The Mirror.

It is understood that Vilanova wants to secure another central defender ahead of next season, as they begin their attempt to reclaim La Liga.

Barcelona finished second in their domestic league last season.
