Sports Mole looks ahead to the La Liga clash between Barcelona and Real Valladolid.

La Liga champions Barcelona welcome Real Valladolid to Camp Nou on Sunday evening, looking for a victory to continue their recent good form.

The Catalan outfit clinched their 22nd title by beating Atletico Madrid 2-1 last weekend, which was their eighth win in 10 league games.

If Tito Vilanova's side win against Valladolid they will be on course to finish the season with 100 points, which would be a record for La Liga.

The visitors secured top-flight football for next season with their 1-0 victory over Deportivo La Coruna last week.

Valladolid have not won at Camp Nou since a 2-1 success in November 1997. They lost 3-1 when the two sides met at the Estadio Municipal Jose Zorrilla in December.

Lionel Messi, who scored in that match, will miss this game after suffering a recurrence of the hamstring injury that has troubled him in recent weeks.

Valladolid coach Miroslav Dukic has no new injury worries ahead of the game. Javi Guerra, who scored the winning goal against Deportivo, is likely to retain his place in the starting XI.
