Rafinha: 'Arthur is like Xavi'

Barcelona midfielder Arthur "has a touch of Xavi about him", according to his new teammate Rafinha.

Arthur joined Barcelona from Gremio earlier this summer, and the Brazilian made his debut for the Catalan giants in their pre-season clash with Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday night.

Rafinha was also involved in the 2-2 draw in California, and the midfielder has claimed that his countryman will be a "great signing for Barcelona".

"I don't like to make comparisons usually, but he has a touch of Xavi about him," ESPN quotes Rafinha as saying. "It's the way he touches the ball, the way he passes it. He's a great, great signing for Barcelona."

Barcelona will continue their preparations for the 2018-19 campaign with a clash against Roma on Tuesday night.
