Luis Enrique: 'We were lucky'

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique admits that his side were far from their best in Saturday's 2-1 win over Almeria.

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has admitted that his side were fortunate to beat Almeria on Saturday afternoon.

The Catalan outfit fell 1-0 behind in the La Liga clash to a first-half strike from Thievy Bifouma.

However, late goals from Neymar and Jordi Alba secured all the points for the visitors and ended a run of two league defeats.

"We could not counteract Almeria at first, but then we scored on the counter. That heightened our mood. It wasn't a great game, but with attitude and desire of the players, we came back," Enrique told reporters after the match.

"The game was complicated, but the substitutes, not the performance, won us the game. Sometimes this can happen, but it mustn't paper over what we did wrong."

Barca currently sit second in La Liga, two points behind the leaders Real Madrid.
