Las Palmas edge past Barcelona B

Barcelona B come unstuck against Las Palmas in their Segunda Division match this evening.

Las Palmas have climbed to third in the Segunda Division with a 2-1 win against Barcelona B, despite ending the match with nine men.

The home side started brightly, pushing their opponents back and testing Mariano Barbosa in the Las Palmas goal.

That pressure led to the opening goal with 19 minutes gone when Antonio Sanabria struck.

Despite more chances falling their way, Barca were unable to extend their lead and soon let the visitors back in, as Nauzet Aleman grabbed the equaliser with 54 minutes gone.

The turnaround was complete seven minutes later when Jose Vicente Gomez made it 2-1.

With Barca piling on the pressure, Sergio Lobera's team managed to hold on even though Aythami Artiles Oliva and Apono received late red cards.
