Antoine Griezmann completes Atletico Madrid switch

Atletico Madrid have signed Antoine Griezmann on a six-year contract.

The France international had been linked with the likes of Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Monaco this summer, but it was announced yesterday that La Liga champions Atletico had reached an agreement with Real Sociedad for the striker's services.

That deal was subject to the 23-year-old passing a medical and agreeing to personal terms at the Vicente Calderon, both of which have now been concluded.

It is believed that Griezmann has cost Atletico around £24m.
