Atletico Madrid reach agreement to sign Angel Correa

Atletico Madrid have agreed a deal to sign San Lorenzo playmaker Angel Correa for a fee thought to be in the region of £6m, the Daily Mail reports.

The young attacker – dubbed as one of South America's hottest prospects – will join the club on a five-year contract, subject to a medical being completed.

Correa bagged 10 goals in 48 games for San Lorenzo last season and has been compared to Argentina forward Sergio Aguero.

The 19-year-old predominantly plays as an attacking midfielder, but can feature in a number of different positions.
