Team News: New signings start for Atletico Madrid

Atletico Madrid head coach Diego Simeone has handed La Liga debuts to his two attacking summer signings for this evening's opening match of the campaign away at Rayo Vallecano.

Mario Mandzukic, who arrived from Bayern Munich, will lead the attack, while French international Antoine Griezmann will offer the support to the Croatian international from an advanced role.

Hosting Rayo have included Chelsea loanee Gael Kakuta within their starting lineup.
