Kiko Casilla praises Atletico Madrid

Espanyol goalkeeper Kiko Casilla praises Atletico Madrid following Sunday's La Liga clash between the two sides.

Espanyol goalkeeper Kiko Casilla has expressed his belief that Atletico Madrid's ability to 'exploit situations' is the main reason that they are the champions of Spain.

Casilla's words came after his side were beaten 2-0 by Atletico at the Vicente Calderon on Sunday afternoon.

"We came with the mentality of fighting to get something from here," he told AS.

"We knew it would be complicated. We've done everything possible but they are the defending champions, because they exploit things very well."

Tiago and Mario Suarez scored the goals for the champions.
