Fernando Llorente plays down transfer rumours

Athletic Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente has distance himself from speculation linking him with a move away from the club.

The 27-year-old has been linked with Barcelona and Manchester City following an impressive campaign, however, he has insisted that he is "happy" at Bilbao.

"It's always nice to have teams interested in you, as it means that you have had a good season. But I am happy because I am already at a great club in Athletic," he told reporters.

Llorente could be in action for Spain against the Republic of Ireland on Thursday.
