Fernando Llorente reaffirms exit plans

Fernando Llorente has once again stated his desire to leave Athletic Bilbao next summer.

The 27-year-old made it known earlier this month that he had no intention of extending his contract, which expires during the summer.

Having had some time to reflect on his decision, the Spanish international has insisted that he has no plans to change his mind.

"I'm leaving Athletic," he told Tuttosport. "The truth is that the project is very good and for me it's a pain, an absolute sadness not to play next year in the new San Mames, but football is like that."

Llorente, who has scored two goals this season, has been heavily linked with Italian champions Juventus.
