Arsene Wenger: 'Yaya Sanogo will go out on loan'

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger insists that striker Yaya Sanogo will be heading out on loan before the end of this month's transfer window.

Arsene Wenger has insisted that Yaya Sanogo will go out on loan during this month's transfer window.

The Arsenal striker has been linked with a move to Bordeaux, but the manager is keen to keep the 21-year-old in England.

He told the club's website: "[Sanogo] will go out on loan. My option is preferably in England. We are very short today of an option in England and maybe he should go to an English Premier League club."

Sanogo has made just six appearances for the Gunners this season.
