Report: Arsenal considering Tyrone Mings move

Arsenal are reportedly among a number of Premier League clubs ready to offer Tyrone Mings a Premier League lifeline should Aston Villa be relegated.

Mings only joined the Villans on a permanent deal last summer following a successful loan spell and has started 27 games in all competitions this season.

With Villa facing an immediate return to the second tier, The Athletic's David Ornstein has suggested that a number of top-flight teams are poised to pounce.

Arsenal are said to be one of those ready to move for the 27-year-old, who set Dean Smith's side back £20m to sign from Bournemouth.

Mings was capped by England for the first time in their 6-0 win against Bulgaria last October, playing the full 90 minutes in Sofia.
