No Arsenal loan extension for Thierry Henry

Thierry Henry's loan spell at Arsenal will not be extended, according to New York Red Bulls coach Hans Backe.

The striker had been expected to stay with the Gunners for the North London derby on Sunday, February 26. However, he will now return to America on Friday, February 17.

"When I spoke to him, he told me that he was 100% coming back on February 17," Backe told reporters.

Henry has so far scored two goals in four appearances during his second spell with the Gunners.
