Atletico Madrid and Spain striker Alvaro Morata reveals that "several teams" are interested in signing him this summer.

Spanish striker Alvaro Morata has revealed that "several teams" are interested in signing him this summer.

The 29-year-old is set to return to Atletico Madrid after Juventus opted against making his two-year loan deal permanent for around €35m (£29.3m).

Morata now faces an uncertain future in the Spanish capital but the striker hopes he can play for a club where he feels 'loved' and 'valued' as he did at Juve.

"I have quite a few options. It's not up to me. The good thing is that there are several teams," Morata told journalist Matteo Moretto.

"I would like to be where they love me the most and value me. In the last two places I've been I've been very happy because there are wonderful people."

As well as two spells at Real Madrid and Juventus, Morata has also played in the Premier League with Chelsea, while he last played for his current club Atletico back in July 2020.

Morata, who has been linked with the likes of Arsenal and Barcelona, scored the opening goal for the Spanish national team in a 1-1 draw with Portugal in their opening Nations League game on Thursday night.
