Koscielny agrees new Arsenal deal

Laurent Koscielny has agreed to a three-year extension to his Arsenal contract, keeping him at the club until 2017.

The Mirror understands that the French defender stands to make £65,000 a week under the new deal, which quashes rumours linking him with a move elsewhere.

Koscielny had been linked with Inter Milan and Barcelona, though neither club made a formal offer for the player.

The centre-back, who joined the Gunners from Lorient in 2010, made 33 Premier League appearances last season.

Koscielny has been capped four times by France.
