The 22-year-old has been linked with a move to Arsenal this summer but Les Gones are keen to keep hold of the French international.
"Extending his contract? I cannot answer until we meet with him and his agent on Monday afternoon," Aulas told Le Progres.
"I hope he's with us next season."
Inter Milan are also believed to be interested in Grenier.
