George Graham: Arsenal need to make three big signings

Former Arsenal boss George Graham calls on Arsene Wenger be more active in the transfer market.

George Graham has called on Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger to spend big money and bring in three new signings.

The former Arsenal boss has urged Wenger to make changes in the squad following the club's sale of Cesc Fabregas last week.

"They need experienced, outstanding players and I think they need about another three in the side at the present time," Graham told BBC Radio Five Live.

"They've got the money, let's sit down, get some of these players in he's supposed to be after and let's see if they can start winning trophies again."

“If he sits down and is honest with himself, he'll put it all back together again. But he needs to do some hard thinking.”

Arsenal drew with Newcastle in the first game of the season and lost 2-0 to Liverpool yesterday.
