RB Leipzig midfielder Emil Forsberg suggests that he could leave the club in the summer transfer window.

RB Leipzig midfielder Emil Forsberg has suggested that he could leave the club in the summer transfer window.

The 26-year-old has been linked with Arsenal, who are said to have prepared a £50m bid for the Swedish international in recent months.

Forsberg, who is under contract with Leipzig until 2022, told Fotbollskanalen that he is ready for "the next big step" in his career.

"I'm ready for the next big step. That's going to be very interesting," the midfielder said.

"I am in dialogue with RB and always had a good relationship with the club. I have the dream of playing for the strongest clubs in the world."

Forsberg is currently at the World Cup with Sweden, who face Germany in their second Group F match on Saturday evening.
