Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno is reportedly open to leaving the Gunners in January if he does not receive more gametime from Mikel Arteta.

Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno has admitted that if he does not receive more gametime he could push for a move away from the Emirates in January.

The 29-year-old was Arsenal's number one last season, playing in 35 of the Gunners' 38 Premier League fixtures, but the German shot-stopper has not featured in Mikel Arteta's side since their 5-0 defeat against Manchester City.

Arsenal brought Aaron Ramsdale for £24m from Sheffield United in the summer and the England international has earned his place in the starting 11 between the posts.

Leno told SportBild: "Only if nothing changes in my situation by winter would I have to think about things: what option do I have, how can I continue? But I'm concentrating on my work in training; I can't commit to anything else at the moment."

Italian giants Inter Milan have reportedly shown an interest in Leno's availability, but he could be interested in a return to his hometown club Stuttgart in the Bundesliga.

The German goalkeeper has kept 35 clean sheets in 121 appearances for Arsenal, since arriving in North London from Bayer Leverkusen in 2018.
