Barcelona are reportedly keen for Arsenal to push through a permanent deal for Denis Suarez during the summer transfer window.

Barcelona have reportedly been left keen for Arsenal to sign Denis Suarez on a permanent deal.

The Catalan giants allowed Suarez to link up with the Gunners on loan in January, and the Premier League side have the option of signing the playmaker for €20m (£17.32m).

According to Marca, Barcelona want Arsenal to meet that fee in order to give the La Liga leaders more funds for transfers ahead of next season.

The 25-year-old has only made four substitute outings in just under a month at the Emirates Stadium, with Unai Emery giving the Spaniard time to adapt to English football.

Suarez has no future at Camp Nou, despite the club handing the player a new contract before his switch to the Emirates Stadium.
