Arsenal are reportedly pushing to sign Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
Rabiot was a key figure in France's run to the World Cup final in Qatar, starting five games, including the final, in the absence of midfielder regulars N'Golo Kante and Paul Pogba.
According to Italian outlet Repubblica, the Gunners are now pushing to sign Rabiot in the January transfer window to strengthen their midfield.
Given his contract expires next summer, the Italian side may be willing to part ways with the midfielder in January to avoid losing him for free in the summer, with Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur both interested.
The 27-year-old has a wealth of experience across his career, following spells at Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus, as well as 35 caps for France.
This season has been a return to form for the midfielder, scoring five goals and assisting twice in 16 games, having started in all of those appearances.
