Bernard's agent says that the Brazilian international will reject a move to Arsenal and will instead join Porto.

The agent of Atletico Mineiro winger Bernard has revealed that his client is on the brink of signing for Porto.

The 20-year-old has been at the centre of a tug of war between the Portuguese champions and Premier League side Arsenal, while Ukrainian outfit Shakhtar Donetsk have also been named in the running.

However, Adrian Spadoto has said that the Dragons have all but won the race.

"Bernard will be signing for Porto or Shakhtar," he told Maisfutebol. "There's a huge possibility.

"I think Bernard is signing for Porto, let's wait until Monday or Tuesday for concrete news."

Bernard helped Atletico beat Paraguayan side Olimpia to win the Copa Libertadores for the first time in their history on Thursday.
