Arsenal eye Ligue 1 duo?

Arsenal are understood to be interested in signing Monaco defender Aymen Abdennour and Lyon winger Nabil Fekir this summer.

Arsenal are reportedly preparing bids for Monaco defender Aymen Abdennour and Lyon winger Nabil Fekir.

Abdennour, 25, has played a key role at the back for Monaco this season, while 21-year-old Fekir has scored 12 goals for Lyon.

The Gunners are understood to have been quoted around £15m for Fekir. Abdennour, whose contract at the Stade Louis II is due to end in 2019, has been repeatedly linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium.

Arsene Wenger could now swoop for the pair as he looks to mount a Premier League title challenge with his side next season, according to The Metro.

Arsenal continue their league campaign on Monday when they host Swansea City.
