Team News: Theo Walcott, Per Mertesacker miss out for Arsenal again

Theo Walcott and Per Mertesacker start on the bench again as Arsenal take on Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.

Theo Walcott and Per Mertesacker have failed to regain their places in the Arsenal starting lineup for today's trip to Bournemouth.

The pair were both substitutes for the 0-0 draw with Southampton last time out and they remain on the bench for this clash.

Arsene Wenger has made one change from the midweek encounter, which has seen Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain come in to replace Joel Campbell in attack.

As for the hosts, manager Eddie Howe has decided to stick with the same side that collected a 2-1 win from their trip to Crystal Palace on Tuesday night.

Bournemouth: Boruc; Smith, Francis, Cook, Daniels; Surman, Gosling; Ritchie, Arter, Pugh; Afobe
Subs: Federici, Distin, O'Kane, King, Grabban, Iturbe, Stanislas

Arsenal: Cech; Bellerin, Gabriel, Koscielny, Monreal; Flamini, Ramsey; Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ozil, Sanchez; Giroud
Subs: Ospina, Gibbs, Mertesacker, Coquelin, Walcott, Iwobi, Campbell
