Arsenal's Arsene Wenger 'refuses to hold contract talks until summer'

Wenger 'puts contract talks on hold'

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reportedly informed the club's board that he will not discuss a new contract at The Emirates until the summer.

The French boss has been under pressure in recent weeks due to a string of poor results from the North London outfit, the most recent being a 2-0 defeat to Swansea City.

It is believed that the Gunners board have informally approached Wenger about opening contract talks but it is understood that the 63-year-old won't commit to anything until the end of the season, according to Goal.com.

Reports have suggested that the Frenchman will analyse the season as a whole in the summer and then decide on his future.
