Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger calls for consistency

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes that consistency will be key if his side are to secure a top-four finish in the Premier League this season.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes that his side will finish in the top four of the Premier League this season if they remain consistent.

The Gunners are currently third in the table, three points clear of Liverpool in fifth and four points behind second-placed Manchester City.

Wenger has admitted that there is still a chance of catching City before the end of the campaign.

"It's very tight," he told BBC Sport. "Man City are four points ahead and there are plenty of people chasing us in the top four.

"It's down to consistency. We have seen things change quickly in the last two or three months of the season. We have to focus on finishing as well as we can."

Arsenal face Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road on Wednesday evening.
