Kieran Gibbs bemoans Chelsea draw

Kieran Gibbs believes that Arsenal should have beaten Chelsea following Monday night's 0-0 draw in the Premier League.

Kieran Gibbs has claimed that Arsenal should have beaten Chelsea following Monday's goalless draw in the Premier League.

The Gunners missed the chance to return to the top of the table as they were held at home by the Blues.

Despite the disappointment of not coming away with the points, Gibbs has urged his teammates to move on quickly as they enter a congested Christmas schedule.

"I think we can say we deserved to win the game," the defender told the club's official website. "There were chances at both ends but we were the ones that ended up disappointed.

"It was a scrappy game and the weather did not help. We were left frustrated but this is the most unforgiving part of the season. We have to respond quickly as we play every three days for the next two weeks. We have to forget it and move on."

Arsenal make the short trip to West Ham United in the Premier League on Boxing Day.
