Hector Bellerin: 'Arsenal deserved to beat Tottenham Hotspur'

Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin claims that his side deserved to beat Tottenham Hotspur during their North London derby at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin has claimed that his side deserved all three points from their Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

A Kevin Wimmer own goal gave the Gunners the lead in the first North London derby of the season, but Harry Kane rescued a point from the penalty spot on his first appearance for seven weeks.

Bellerin believes that his side had the chances to win the game, though, and urged the team to learn from their failure to make the most of those openings.

"I'm a bit disappointed with the result because I think the team deserved a bit more than just a draw," he told Arsenal Player.

"We had loads of chances all through the game, especially at the end of the second half. We couldn't be efficient enough to get another goal back and we need to learn from it."

The draw leaves Arsenal fourth in the Premier League table, two points adrift of leaders Liverpool.
