What is at stake for Arsenal and Newcastle?

Arsenal have a perfect pre-season record to preserve, having also beaten Watford behind closed doors before deservedly beating Milan in Singapore.

New signings Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi and Cristhian Mosquera may all have the chance to impress from the first whistle; the former saved three penalties in a shootout loss to the Rossoneri.

Meanwhile, Newcastle have many wrongs to right after being demolished 4-0 by Celtic on July 19, and the Magpies are also under pressure to perform in the absence of Alexander Isak, who was left at home as he explores a possible move away.
