Arsene Wenger believes that Kieran Gibbs is improving every week following his goal in the 2-2 draw with Swansea City in the FA Cup on Sunday.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has declared that Kieran Gibbs is finding his best form following Sunday's 2-2 draw with Swansea City in the FA Cup.

Gibbs linked up with Olivier Giroud to smash home the Gunners' second goal at the Liberty Stadium, capping a fine individual performance from the young defender.

Wenger believes that Gibbs is reaching a level of consistency which comes from playing every week and staying injury free.

He told the club's official website: "Kieran Gibbs had a just outstanding game, he gets better and better.

"When you see this kind of game from him, it's very positive."

The 23-year-old was one of five British youngsters to sign new long-term deals at the Emirates last month.
