Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny says that his side were better than their Greek opponents at the Emirates last night.

Wojciech Szczesny believes that Arsenal were worthy winners in their Champions League Group F encounter with Olympiakos last night.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Andre Santos were on target in the 2-1 victory, a result which leaves the Gunners second in Group F.

"It was a very tough game. We knew before the game that it was going to be a very tough game,” he told Sky Sports News.

"I think you have to give credit to our defence for keeping the result at 2-1 because they did put pressure on us.

"It was a great defensive performance in the second half. We did very well.”

Arsenal return to league action this weekend when they face North London rivals Tottenham.
