Manuel Neuer says that Bayern Munich must play with spirit if they are to see home their advantage against Arsenal in the Champions League.

Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has said that his teammates must not "go easy" on Arsenal despite their commanding lead.

Jupp Heynckes's men opened up a 3-1 advantage after the first leg three weeks ago and will look to seal progression to the last eight at the Allianz Arena tomorrow evening.

Neuer said that the Bavarians were by far the better team at the Emirates Stadium but must refocus so that they avoid a potential Gunners fightback.

"We were superior from the first minute in the first leg, but we must ignore the scoreline and play as if we are starting again," The Mirror quotes Neuer as saying.

"We must show a good spirit and ensure we do not go easy."

The draw for the quarter-finals will take place on March 15.
